Huskies recruiting: National signing day live thread

Brandon Wellington filed his letter of intent and UW’s 2016 recruiting class is officially complete. No surprises.

10:19 a.m. -- Nick Harris, an offensive lineman from Junipero Serra High, has signed with the Huskies. UW is now waiting on just one more signature -- Brandon Wellington, an athlete prospect from Eastside Catholic in Sammamish.

10:05 a.m. -- Another in-state prospect, linebacker/defensive end Amandre Williams from Tahoma High, has signed and filed his letter.

9:40 a.m. -- Jordan Chin, the second receiver to sign with UW’s today, has filed his letter of intent. Chin is listed at 5-foot-11 1/2 and 151 pounds.

9:32 a.m. -- Kentrell Love, a 4-star defensive back from Corona, California, signed his letter to play for the Huskies.

9:18 a.m. -- The Huskies announced the signing of Kamari Pleasant, a 4-star athlete prospect from Etiwanda, California, whom they list as a running back.

9:00 a.m. -- Tight end Jason Kizer from Salem, Oregon, signed his letter and is on board.

8:27 a.m. -- Byron Murphy is on board. The 4-star defensive back from Saguaro High in Scottsdale, Arizona, has signed his letter to play for the Huskies.

8:16 a.m. -- Van Soderberg, a punter from Capital High School, has signed his letter with UW. Soderberg plans to enroll at UW in March and participate in spring practices.

8:01 a.m. -- Another defensive back has signed with the Huskies -- 5-foot-10, 188-pound cornerback Isaiah Gilchrist from Bellevue. Another 4-star recruit.

7:46 a.m. -- Luke Wattenberg, a 6-foot-3, 275-pound offensive lineman out of Junipero Serra High School, has signed his letter of intent with UW.

7:33 a.m. -- The letter of intent for 4-star running back Sean McGrew out of St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, Calif., is in.

7:13 a.m. -- 4-star linebacker Camilo Eifler, the top-rated player in UW’s class, has signed his letter of intent. Eifler played for former UW star Napoleon Kaufman at Bishop O’Dowd High School in Oakland, and lists his hometown as Berkeley, Calif.

6:31 a.m. -- Aaron Fuller, a 5-foot-11, 177-pound receiver prospect from Allen, Texas, has also signed his letter of intent.

6:16 a.m. -- The letter for DE Levi Onwuzurike, listed at 6-foot-4 and 262 pounds, is officially in.

6:07 a.m. -- Taylor Rapp, a 5-foot-11, 176-pound defensive back prospect from Sehome who is already enrolled at UW, has also been announced as a signee.

6:02 a.m. -- UW officially announced the addition of QB Daniel Bridge-Gadd in January, and the Phoenix prospect is the first player to show up on Chris Petersen’s Twitter account this morning. And while UW hasn’t officially announced it yet, it appears DE Levi Onwuzurike from Allen, Texas, has signed his letter, too.

The Huskies are expected to sign a class of 17 prospects on Wednesday, the first day of the National Letter of Intent signing period.

We’ll maintain a live blog throughout the day and update as each letter is signed and processed. UW coach Chris Petersen is scheduled to meet with reporters at 1 p.m., so we’ll have more on the Huskies’ recruiting class thereafter.
