Connor Wedington, a 3-star athlete prospect from Sumner High, announced on Tuesday night that he has accepted a scholarship offer to play for the Huskies.

Wedington is a junior at Sumner and a member of the 2017 recruiting class. Listed at 5-foot-11 and 183 pounds, he plays running back and defensive back, and also lists offers from Washington State, Idaho, Montana State and Eastern Washington. Wedington told Scout.com that he committed as soon as coach Chris Petersen offered him a scholarship.

He is the second prospect to commit to UW in the 2017 class, joining 4-star cornerback prospect Keith Taylor from Servite High School.

Here are Wedington’s Hudl highlights.
