Huskies ranked 14th in preseason AP top 25 poll
The Washington Huskies will begin the 2016 season ranked No. 14 in the Associated Press top 25 poll, their highest ranking since beginning the 2002 season at No. 9.
It’s UW’s first appearance in the AP top 25 since the first week of the 2014 season, when the Huskies debuted at No. 25 but fell out of the rankings after an unimpressive victory over Hawaii.
The Huskies are ranked No. 18 in the USA Today coaches poll.
