Prep tennis: Kane Vu of Bellarmine Prep reaches the quarterfinals at district tournament

West Central District 4A Tennis Tournament: The first day of the West Central District 4A Tennis Tournament concluded Friday, and play will continue Saturday.

Making it to the quarterfinals were Bryan Thornquist of Auburn, Justin Ong of Olympia, Kane Vu of Bellarmine Prep and Jonathan Carlson of Curtis.

Winning their quarterfinal matches were Alex Boupharath of Kentwood, Gunner Harlan of Battle Ground, and Andrew Kabacy and Colby Tong of Auburn Riverside.
