Last-second shot caps Clover Park’s rally against Fife

Clover Park came back from a 14-point deficit to defeat Fife on a last-second shot, 61-59, on Friday night at Fife High School.
The ball was in Davien Harris-Williams’ hands as the clock ticked down. Harris-Williams, who scored 10 points on the night, launched a three-point attempt — about three feet outside the arc — and drilled the shot as time expired to seal a Warriors’ win.
The Warriors outscored the Trojans 21-13 in the fourth quarter.
Semaj Booker was the Warriors’ leading scorer with 19 points, and Jeremiah Morris had 12.
Curtis 74, Emerald Ridge 70: Aushanti Potts-Woods and Glenn Jordan both scored 24 points for the Vikings, who outscored the Jaguars 19-16 in the fourth quarter.
Auburn Mountainview 82, Lakes 57: Ryan Lacey scored 25 points in the Lions’ win and earned his 1,000th career point. Lacey also had six rebounds, five assists, and three steals.
Capital 55, Central Kitsap 51: The Cougars rallied in the second half after trailing 26-17 at intermission. Travis Miller had a game-high 26 points for Capital.
Steilacoom 56, White River 52: The Sentinels held on despite being outscored in the fourth quarter (14-12). Isaiah Hampton led Steilacoom with 11 points. White River’s Tyler Meadows and Alex Wallen had 16 points each.
Sumner 71, Auburn 65: Dawson Cutright led the victorious Spartans with 16 points. The Trojans’ Malik Williams had a game-high 23 points.
Puyallup 72, Rogers 57: Landen Ness scored a game-high 21 points for the Vikings, while Deven Ness chipped in 18 and Jaden Vollmen had 17.
Enumclaw 62, Bonney Lake 41: The Hornets broke a 14-all tie after the first quarter by outscoring the Panthers 13-3 in the second quarter. Josh Erickson was the leading scorer for the Hornets with 20 points.
Franklin Pierce 64, Orting 58: F-P sparked a comeback outscoring rallied past Orting by dominating the fourth quarter, 26-16. Alex Bing led all scorers with 16 points for Franklin Pierce.
Peninsula 58, Auburn Riverside 40: Garrett Kingman scored a game-high 24 points for the visiting Seahawks. JaQuori McLaughlin added 15 points for Peninsula.
Eatonville 65, Montesano 52: Derick York scored a game-high 21 points for the Cruisers.
Tumwater 73, W.F. West 32: Jacob Gibbons, who was averaging 11.8 points, soared for 25 points to lead the T-Birds. Tumwater outscored the Tarriers 22-2 in the third quarter.
River Ridge 89, Washington 58: The Hawks had four scorers reach double figures. Jaden White led all scorers with 20 points, Mac Armstrong followed with 19, Issiah Scott had 18, and LaBrandon Price 11.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
The River Ridge Hawks defeated the Washington Patriots, 43-22, on their home court.
MaKenna Schultz broke a River Ridge record for three-point shots made on Friday night. Schultz hit 10, surpassing the previous record of nine held by Samira McDonald (2011).
Schultz finished with 32 points and was set up by her teammates, constantly receiving second-chance shots.
Mount Tahoma 51, North Thurston 49: The T-Birds edged the Rams despite being outscored 16-15 in the fourth quarter. Taylor Grant was the leading scorer for the T-Birds with 13 points.
Tumwater 46, W.F. West 40: The T-Birds got it done in the third quarter, outscoring the Tarriers 13-6. Mackenzie Bergquist was the leading scorer for the T-Birds with 13 points.
White River 58, Steilacoom 38: The Hornets the Sentinels 41-23 in the first half. Kendall Bird had a game-high 26 points for White River.
Auburn Riverside 46, Peninsula 35: The Ravens were outscored 15-6 during the fourth quarter, but held on to win. Olivia Denton scored a game-high 19 points for the Ravens.
Central Kitsap 49, Capital 36: MacKenzie Page scored 21 points in Central Kitsap’s victory over a 3A Narrows League opponent.
