Mariners’ series finale Thursday in Washington now starts at 9:05 a.m. Pacific time
Ready for baseball alongside your morning coffee?
A forecast of heavy rain Thursday in the nation’s capital prompted the Washington Nationals to move up the start time for their series finale against the Mariners by four hours.
That makes for a 9:05 a.m. start Pacific time.
The pitching matchup remains the same: Left-hander Ariel Miranda (3-2 with a 4.28 ERA) against Washington lefty Gio Gonzalez (3-1 and 2.86).
