Three Tacoma Stars up for postseason awards

Three members of the Tacoma Stars were named Friday as finalists for four Major Arena Soccer League postseason awards.

Danny Waltman is in the running for most valuable player and goalkeeper of the year, while Darren Sawatzky is up for coach of the year and midfielder Mike Ramos for rookie of the year. Ramos already has been named to the all-rookie team.

The winners will be revealed Thursday, after the MASL All-Team selections are announced Tuesday.
