Sounders, announcer Ross Fletcher part ways

The Sounders announced today that they will part ways with their broadcast voice Ross Fletcher at the end of this season.

There was an understandable side-taking through social media today after the announcement, but the club and Fletcher each Sound upbeat in this announcement from the club.

Fletcher handled one of the toughest tasks in sports: following a lengend, in this case Arlo White. He has been a class guy, and we wish him all the best.

He will continue to broadcast games through the end of this Sounders season/postseason. There was no timeline for the hiring of a replacement, other than before the start of the 2016 season.
