Rose scored five goals and added seven assists in his 82 regular-season apperances with Seattle after he joined the club via a trade in January 2012. Sounders FC GM and President of Soccer Garth Lagerwey first announced Rose's trial during a year-end conference call with media, but expressed his openness to having Rose rejoin the squad in the future.
"I think it was something he always wanted to do, “Lagerwey said.”We're happy for our players wherever they end up. Our door is open, either in the short term or long term."
