Sounders U-23 releases 2016 PDL schedule
The Sounders U23, 2015 PDL Western Conference Champions, have announced their 2016 PDL schedule beginning on May 22nd versus Crossfire PDL at Sunset Stadium in Sumner with an exciting announcement coming soon! The 2016 squad will look to better the 2015 Final Four appearance with a tough Northwest Division schedule.
Highlighted by the 2016 Sounders FC homegrown signings of Jordan Morris and Jordan Schweitzer along with MLS draft pick Jonathan Campbell by the Chicago Fire, the Sounders U23 team will look to continue the role of helping players develop to reach the professional game. At present, over 30 players have signed into the professional game after playing for the Sounders U23 team.
The Sounders U23 will play their home schedule at Sunset Stadium in Sumner.

The Sounders U23 play in the Northwest Division of the Premier Development League (PDL) and the Sounders Women play in the WPSL. Featuring current college age amateur players with former international and professional stars, both the PDL and the WPSL provide elite amateurs the opportunity to compete while maintaining their eligibility as college student-athletes. Both the PDL and the WPSL are recognized throughout the world for providing superior competition for players, while offering affordable family entertainment for fans throughout North America. The Sounders U23 team is the direct PDL affiliate to the Sounders FC first team and USL S2 team.
