S2 drops opener to Sacramento, 1-0

Sounders 2 opened its second USL season tonight at Starfire Sports Stadium, falling 1-0 to the Sacramento Republic.

The difference was a Sacramento penalty kick from Thomas Stewart in the 63rd minute. The PK followed a penalty called on Seattle centerback Tony Alfaro.

Here’s the lineup that began the season for S2:
