Man crashes motorcycle on Littlerock Road

A 51-year-old Centralia man suffered serious injuries after crashing his motorcycle Wednesday night in Tumwater.

A Washington State Patrol trooper had observed a motorcycle that was speeding and driving erratically about 9 p.m. on southbound Interstate 5, said Trooper Todd Bartolac.

The trooper attempted to pull over the motorcycle driver, but he didn’t stop. He exited the freeway at Tumwater Boulevard and was thrown from the motorcycle after colliding with a vehicle on Littlerock Road.

The motorcycle driver suffered serious injuries. The occupants in the vehicle were uninjured. Troopers on the scene determined the motorcyclist was driving under the influence, Bartolac said, but no charges have been filed yet.

According to the accident report, the motorcycle driver was wearing a helmet.
