One killed in crash on Old Highway 99 near Tenino
One man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on Old Highway 99 near Tenino, according to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.
The man was driving northbound when he crossed the center line and hit a southbound vehicle head-on, according to Sgt. Carla Carter. The driver of the southbound vehicle was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center.
The crash occurred at about 8 a.m.
Old Highway 99 was reopened by noon at Tilley Road and Violet Prairie Road while the crash investigation continue.
