Have you seen this pickup? Here’s why the Sheriff’s Office wants your help finding it.
The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in solving a local crime.
On Dec. 21, a home in the Black Lake area of Thurston County was burglarized, and a red 1968 Chevrolet C10 short box with five-spoke wheels was stolen, according to a bulletin issued Tuesday by the Sheriff’s Office and Crime Stoppers of South Sound.
The license plate of the truck at the time of the burglary was Washington State 49704CV.
Anyone with information about the burglary or the location of the truck is asked to call Thurston County Sheriff’s Detective George Oplinger at 360-786-5746 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477).
The case is Crime Stoppers’ “Crime of the Week.” Crime Stoppers will pay as much as $1,000 for tips that lead to arrests, and tips can be made anonymously.
