Walmart representatives plan to meet with Tumwater development officials this week about making some changes to the Walmart store on Littlerock Road, city information shows.

Walmart proposes to reconfigure the north end of the parking lot to build a restaurant/coffee shop and a potential dog park, according to a development review committee agenda.

The store is at 5900 Littlerock Road SW.

Walmart and city officials are set to meet Thursday to discuss the proposal as part of a feasibility review. Development review committee meetings typically provide city feedback on early-stage development proposals.
