Garage fire in Tumwater destroys truck, boat, shed and more
Officials say a fire in Tumwater late Wednesday caused thousands of dollars in damage.
Crews were called to a home on the 1200 block of 88th Avenue Southeast shortly after 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and found a garage, a fifth-wheel trailer, a pickup truck, a boat, a shed and a motor home on fire, according to Capt. Brad Ridgeway with the Tumwater Fire Department.
The fire did not spread to nearby homes and no one was injured. Ridgeway estimated the cost of the damage was $25,000 to $50,000.
The cause of the fire had not been determined Thursday.
