Suspects in Thurston County woman’s death arrested in Longview

Two suspects in a 60-year-old Thurston County woman’s death were arrested early Tuesday in Longview and returned to the Thurston County jail, according to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.

Roan Littlemoon, 23, and Sabrina Y. Anderson, 18, are suspected in the death of Littlemoon’s mother, Robin L. Tingle, Monday at a rural Thurston County home, said Lt. Tim Rudloff of the Sheriff’s Office. They were arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder.

Detectives began investigating the death at the home on the 2800 block of 184th Avenue Southeast, between Bucoda and Tenino, about 4 p.m. Monday, Rudloff said. Investigators believe Tingle died at the scene some time before noon.

The Sheriff’s Office said Tingle and Littlemoon lived in the residence.

According to Washington State Patrol records, Littlemoon has fourth-degree assault convictions from 2007 and 2008.

Thurston County court records show Tingle petitioned for a domestic violence protection order against Littlemoon last summer.

In the petition, she wrote Littlemoon threatened her life, and once pulled a gun on her.

“Roan will not seek professional help and continues to escalate in poor behaviour,” Tingle wrote.

She was granted a temporary protection order July 26 and a more permanent protection order Aug. 5.

Anderson has no Washington criminal history, according to Washington State Patrol records.

Detectives believe Littlemoon and Anderson left the home about noon in a white Mazda Tribute with Washington license plate BBT6583.

Law enforcement searching for the vehicle and the suspects found the vehicle in Longview about 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Authorities have not said how Tingle died, but Rudloff said they don’t believe a gun was used.
