Arrest in Lacey neighborhood draws large police presence

Lacey police arrested a suspect Monday morning in a harrassment case.

The suspect, who was described by Lacey Sgt. Terrance Brimmer as hostile to police, was in a residence near Carpenter Road and Stanfield Road SE.

“The suspect is in custody. Everything went according to plan,” Brimmer said. Brimmer said the suspect appeared to be intoxicated.

Several units responded due to the possible threat to police.
