“We are The Wilsons!”

That’s what Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson posted with a bride-and-groom photo on his Instagram social-media account Wednesday, after he married R&B singer Ciara at a castle outside Liverpool, England.

The celebrity and entertainment outlet E! News reported the ceremony was “in front of close friends and family at the Peckforton Castle...The bride wore a custom Roberto Cavalli dress, designed by the label's creative director, Peter Dundas.”

Not sure if Wilson had a Cavalli suit.

The 19th-century castle is surrounded by 4,000 acres of forest in the Cheshire region of England.

The couple have been a pop-culture hit since they began dating in the spring of 2015. They’ve been conspicuous after Seahawks practices and games, at White House dinners as guests of President Barack Obama and in weekly visits to Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Wilson has been married once before, in 2012. He and Ashton Meem divorced in April 2014.

The newlyweds have three weeks before Wilson is to report for Seahawks training camp back across the pond in Renton.
