Man killed in logging accident outside Buckley

A man doing logging work died this morning after a tree fell on him outside Buckley, East Pierce Fire & Rescue reported.

The accident occurred some time before 10:20 a.m. in a wooded area about 12 miles east of Buckley.

Sheriff's deputies and the Pierce County medical examiners have been dispatched to the scene.
