Motorcyclist from Olympia in stable condition after crash
An Olympia man seriously injured in a motorcycle crash this weekend is now in stable condition and conscious, according to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred shortly after 8 a.m. on Saturday morning on 62nd Avenue in the Black Lake area southwest of Tumwater. The man was flown to Harborview Medical Center after an SUV towing a boat pulled out in front of his motorcycle, according to Sgt. Carla Carter.
Carter said the man’s family has asked that his name not be released. She said he is in his mid-30s.
