Two webpages raising money for the family of the two women killed in Lacey on Monday have popped up on GoFundMe.com.

A 31-year-old woman from Lacey, Rachel Gardin-Gonzalez, and her mother Kimberly Redford, 51, were both fatally shot at Gardin-Gonzalez’s home early Monday evening.

Thurston County Coroner Gary Warnock released the names of the victims Wednesday afternoon. Both sustained gunshot wounds and blunt force trauma to the head.

Gardin-Gonzalez, identified as the shooting suspect’s estranged wife, was transported from the scene to a local hospital where she later died. Redford, who was visiting from Missouri to help her daughter move back there with her, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect, 32, led police on a chase through Thurston County with two children in his car before shooting himself in the neck. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he was listed in serious condition Thursday evening.

The two children were recovered from the car after police cornered the suspect at the Olympia auto mall.

Family friends have set up a GoFundMe page to help with funeral costs for Gardin-Gonzalez and Redford. The page lists Nathan Surber, the brother and son of the victims, as the organizer.

Another page was set up by friends of the family to benefit Gardin-Gonzalez’s two children, the young girl and boy who were recovered from the car.
