The power is still out for some near Olympia after Monday’s storm
Dozens of local customers were still without power Tuesday morning after Monday’s high winds caused widespread outages.
As of 8 a.m. Tuesday, about 80 Puget Sound Energy customers were without power in Olympia, Lacey and Tumwater. More outages were reported near Yelm, Rainier and Roy.
Puget Sound Energy said more than 16,100 of its customers were without power in the state Tuesday, down from 29,000 customers Monday afternoon.
