Teachers across the Olympia area made as much as $142,723 a year during the 2021 school year, according to data from Washington state’s Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction.

The Olympian has found the top paying teacher positions in the Olympia School District, North Thurston Public Schools and the Tumwater School District.

The data has been collected through public records requests by McClatchy to create a salary database that allows you to search public school districts workers’ salaries for the 2020-2021 school year. You can search through it below.

Public school teacher salaries are determined by the level of education and years of service in the school district, according to contracts from the Olympia School District.

Olympia School District
