Human skeletal remains found in Olympia Nov. 8 have been identified
The skeletal remains of a man found in Olympia in November have been identified by the Thurston County Coroner.
Jay R. Spadoni, 58, who has ties to Gig Harbor, was found about 11 a.m. Nov. 8 in a wooded area near the 1100 block of Pear Street Northeast, Coroner Gary Warnock said Tuesday, Nov. 28.
The man’s remains were found near a makeshift tent, he said.
To determine the cause of death, the man’s remains will be sent to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office so that they can be reviewed by a state anthropologist, Warnock said.
