1. Man accused of assaulting 10-year-old girl at Lacey grocery store: Bail was set at $75,000 for a man accused of grabbing a child’s buttocks at a Lacey supermarket Sunday afternoon.

2. Second ex-Olympia school bus driver suspected of child rape: Jimmy W. Wall, 50, of Centralia is suspected of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old boy during and after the 2007-2008 school year. The boy was a Madison Elementary student, and Wall was his bus driver.

3. Level 3 sex offender registers to live in Thurston County: The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office is making a general public notification that level 3 sex offender John Thomas Vandervort will be living in Bucoda.

4. Olympia residents could hear gunshots as movie films in late May: Residents of Olympia’s northeast neighborhood might hear gunfire at the end of the month while a movie is being shot in the area.

5. Huge food recall list continues to grow: Two large food recalls continue to grow nationwide, one involving frozen fruits and vegetables sold at several local stores, and the other involving almost 10 million pounds of cooked chicken that was used in a number of products.
