Stuck in traffic again? Use our poll to sound off about Thurston’s terrible intersections
Around 300,000 people live in Thurston County, making it the sixth-most populous county in Washington state. About half of Thurston County’s population lives in the towns of Olympia, Tumwater and Lacey in the northern portion of the county, leading to clogged and hectic intersections.
But which are the worst?
The intersection at Black Lake Boulevard and Cooper Point Road, pictured in our poll, holds a special place in our hearts — not for the right reasons — but we want to hear from you. Tell us in the survey below which intersections cause you anxiety or give you a traffic headache. Overall results and comments will be part of a future story for The Olympian.
